NIMASTE YOGA IS LIVESTREAMING CLASSES WHILE THE STUDIO IS CLOSED. CHECK OUR SCHEDULE FOR AVAILABLE ONLINE CLASSES WITH NIMASTE YOGA TEACHERS TO HELP YOU STAY HEALTHY, ACTIVE, AND CONNECTED.
Following Thich Nhat Hanh’s (a Vietnamese Buddhist Monk) tradition, we will be sharing and leading 20 minutes of sitting meditation, 5 minutes of walking meditation, and a mindful reading. Although meditation sharing is open and free, we ask for a donation to support needs in our local community. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.
Relax and Unwind Restorative Yoga
Relax & Unwind with restorative yoga. The support of props will allow you to completely relax and rest, while soothing the nervous system. We'll hold fewer poses, such as heart-openers and twists, for longer periods of time, and conclude with a lengthy savasana!
Postnatal Flow Yoga
When you are a new mom, self-care may seem like a distant memory. Carve out a weekly dose of me-time with Postnatal Flow Yoga! Enjoy the community of other new parents as you spend an hour each week to focus on balancing your body, releasing tight muscles, retraining core muscles, and ending with some restorative yoga. For mothers six weeks to two years post-partum. (Distinct from Baby and Me Yoga, this class is for adults only.)
Tot and Me Yoga
This class is focused on the growing mobility of the child as they move to crawling, standing and walking. It is yoga for ages 17 months to 3 years, so there are rhymes, songs, games, and yoga poses geared toward their development. The class is a fun way to introduce yoga to your child and share in the experience of exploring new skills, through repetition and interaction with other children their age. An adult must participate with the child but no previous yoga experience is required.
Family Yoga and Mindfulness
Family Yoga and Mindfulness is for families and children ages 3-10. Join us to play yoga games, explore yoga breathing, and do fun yoga poses. No yoga experience necessary.
Tween Yoga is designed for kids from 7 - 15. In today’s fast-paced, digital world, children are pressured to grow up fast. Many need coping skills, and mind-body practices that reduce stress. This class will combine creative and playful functional movement, with mind-body work. Children will learn traditional poses, yoga games, and breathing exercises to calm the mind. Safe, non-judgmental play will be emphasized. We have mats to borrow, or you can bring your own.
