Meditation Practice Following Thich Nhat Hanh’s (a Vietnamese Buddhist Monk) tradition, we will be sharing and leading 20 minutes of sitting meditation, 5 minutes of walking meditation, and a mindful reading. Although meditation sharing is open and free, we ask for a donation to support needs in our local community. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Yoga Nidra Known as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is a meditation and conscious relaxation practice intended to induce physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Unlike seated meditation, yoga nidra is done lying down. It is guided to take your attention to specific places moving you into a state of conscious deep sleep. During yoga nidra, your mind is actually awake, so it is as though you are in the state between being asleep and awake. |

It is a complementary practice to more active styles of yoga supporting maintenance of mobility, healing, and an opportunity to explore mindfulness and the subtler aspects of a personal practice. Working with gravity, students move gently through poses, holding each shape for 3-5 minutes. This slow pace allows the pose to work within the deeper, connective tissues while invigorating the energy centers of the body to release blockages and increase energy flow. Primarily floor based, Yin classes focus on the lower body; especially the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. This class is appropriate for all levels. ADVANCED LEVELSActive Flow

Come prepared to explore your body and take on new challenges at a quicker pace through sun salutations and arm balances, inversions, backbends, hip openers and more. Modifications are always given, but we suggest beginners take their time to feel comfortable with alignment in Flow Yoga 1 before moving at a quicker pace. Strengthen & Flow This class relies on traditional Vinyasa Flow to build stamina through movement and focuses on holding some key asanas to strengthen the body.
